What we collect

If you create an account: your email address and a hashed (not plaintext) version of your password, plus whatever you choose to save in Settings — streaming subscriptions, liked titles, and a theme preference.

If you use Guest mode: nothing is stored on our servers at all. Your selections exist only in your browser for that session.

How we use it

Your saved subscriptions and liked titles are sent, along with your selected mood, to Anthropic (the company behind Claude) to generate movie recommendations. Your email is used only for login and, if you request it, a password reset link.

Third-party services

Anthropic — generates recommendations from your mood/preferences. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
Resend — delivers password reset emails. Only your email address is shared, only when you request a reset.
Google AdSense — may show ads on this site and use cookies to do so, including to personalize ads based on your visits here and elsewhere. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings.

Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage (not a traditional cookie) to keep you signed in between visits. If ads are shown, Google and its partners may set their own cookies to serve and measure ads — see the AdSense link above for details and opt-out options.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. There's no self-service delete button yet — to request your account and data be removed, reach out via the social links at the bottom of the site.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
